Let me preface this review by saying that I am really not the biggest Marvel fan. With that being said…..I REALLY liked Black Panther. The acting was terrific, the action was thrilling, and the story was so impactful and important. It didn’t feel like another marvel movie. It felt like this excellent stand-alone action drama. One of my favorite aspects of the film was how they made the world of Wakanda so enchanting and captivating. It was like a supporting character in the film. Oh, and the soundtrack captures this movie perfectly.
Honest Movie Experience: Director, Ryan Coogler, could have made this like every other Marvel movie, but with so much passion and detail, he created a truly impactful and relevant movie that can stand on its own.
